Advanced Seal is who you need to go with if you want spray foam done. Any time we have had them out for a job is it done the same day, even some very large areas. As you can see in the pictures attached they take great pride in not only doing a good job & matching their pledge on foam amount; but also are the cleanest you will find at applying it. No mess, no overspray, done how you would hope it would be. Great people to work with!

Steve and his team came out and did an excellent job for us. We had mice, bats, and possibly a squirrel living in our attics. They came in and sucked out the old insulation, sealed cracks/openings, and applied the spray foam to replace the blown in insulation. They cleaned up after themselves, did excellent work, and hauled everything away. They responded quickly when I first reached out, educated us on what our issues were and how to move forward, and treated our home as if they were working on their own home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is the second time I have contacted Steve at Advance Seal for spray foam at my house. They came out in 2021 on short notice and sprayed my crawl space before winter. This time around they spray foamed my 40 x 64 pole building. Quality of work, and professionalism is by far the best in our area. 👌

Steve is simply the best. I’ve had him 3 different times for different projects. Always the same. Work is done correctly and efficiently and looks great. The best is his attention to the small stuff, drop clothes, plastic to cover things to not be damaged. Then the clean up after. Besides having the unbelievable warmth and sealing the foam does. It was like they were never here. I truly wish every contractor I worked with was just like Steve I cannot say Enough good things about him. I’ve always felt like he gives me more than what I paid for. Highly highly recommend

Frequently Asked Questions

Attic insulation pricing depends on your attic size and access, how much old/compromised insulation needs attention, the insulation material selected (spray foam vs. fiberglass/cellulose), and whether air leaks around top plates, penetrations, or attic hatches should be sealed first. In Rossville’s seasonal swings, the “right” scope is usually the one that reduces drafts and HVAC run time—not just adding more material.
Many property owners notice a change quickly—especially if the attic was under-insulated or had major air leaks—but results vary by your home’s current condition, HVAC efficiency, and how much conditioned air was escaping into the attic. A realistic goal is improved comfort and steadier temperatures; any energy savings are a bonus that typically shows up over multiple billing cycles.
Often, yes—because insulation slows heat transfer, but air sealing reduces the “leaks” that move hot/cold air and moisture. If your Rossville home has drafts, uneven room temperatures, or a musty attic smell, air sealing (around penetrations, attic access, and bypasses) can make insulation perform noticeably better than insulation alone.
Proper attic insulation can help reduce winter heat loss, limit summer heat gain, and cut down on drafts and temperature swings between rooms. The Rossville page specifically calls out comfort, efficiency, and fewer drafts with more consistent temperatures—especially when your HVAC system doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain setpoints.
It can—particularly for second-floor rooms that sit under a hot roof deck in summer or lose heat rapidly in winter. The key is matching the insulation approach to the issue: air leaks, thin/settled insulation, blocked ventilation paths, or ductwork in the attic. A targeted attic assessment usually finds the real driver, not just the symptom.
It can help by reducing uncontrolled air movement between the attic and living space and by supporting a drier, more stable attic environment. That said, “air quality” is heavily influenced by ventilation, HVAC filtration, and moisture control. If you’re noticing dusty air or attic odors, pairing insulation with air sealing and moisture checks is typically the practical next step.
Common attic insulation options include fiberglass batts/rolls, blown-in cellulose, spray foam, and radiant barrier. Each behaves differently: some are best for topping up attic floors, while others can also reduce air leakage when installed correctly. The best choice depends on your attic layout, budget, and whether your priority is stopping drafts, improving comfort, or upgrading overall thermal performance.
The exact target depends on your home and attic design, but many guidance sources recommend attic insulation levels in a higher range for strong performance. The Rossville page references a typical recommended range of R-38 to R-60 for attics, which is a useful, general benchmark when planning an upgrade
“Better” depends on what you’re solving. Spray foam can help reduce air leakage when applied to the right surfaces, while fiberglass/cellulose are common choices for adding thermal resistance over an attic floor. In many Rossville-area projects, the winning approach is the one that addresses both heat flow (R-value) and air movement (air sealing)—not one material in isolation.
Condensation usually comes from warm, moist indoor air leaking into a colder attic and hitting cold surfaces. That’s why air sealing matters, and why ventilation paths should stay open. If your attic shows damp decking, frost, or wet insulation, you’ll want an evaluation that looks at air leaks, bath/kitchen exhaust routing, and intake/exhaust ventilation balance.
Proper attic insulation can reduce roof-deck warming from household heat loss, which is one factor that contributes to ice dams. Ventilation also matters—because it helps keep the roof deck closer to the outdoor temperature. If you’ve had ice dams near eaves, a good plan typically checks insulation coverage at the perimeter, baffles/vent channels, and air leaks from the living space.
Many attics do—especially at the eaves. Baffles (rafter vents) help keep soffit intake airflow pathways open so insulation doesn’t block them. If insulation is piled into the eaves without a channel, moisture and heat can build up. During an attic insulation upgrade, confirming ventilation paths is a smart way to protect performance and avoid unintended moisture issues.
Don’t assume—staining can come from moisture patterns, past roof leaks, or condensation. Attic insulation work should focus on correcting the conditions that feed moisture: air leakage, exhaust fans venting into the attic, and blocked ventilation. Advanced Seal Spray Foam Insulation can evaluate the attic as part of an insulation estimate and recommend next steps; for confirmed mold remediation, use a qualified remediation specialist.
An estimate typically includes reviewing your current attic insulation levels and coverage, checking for common air-leak points, noting ventilation conditions, and discussing which insulation type fits your goals (comfort, efficiency, draft reduction). Advanced Seal Spray Foam Insulation then proposes a scope aligned with your attic’s needs. If you want to move forward, request an estimate through the website contact form.
Many attic insulation projects can be completed in a day, but timing depends on attic size, access, whether prep work is needed, and the insulation type. For example, detailed air sealing or certain spray foam applications can add time. A site visit is the best way to set expectations for Rossville properties and avoid guesswork.
Reputable crews plan for cleanup and protection—especially around attic access points. Disruption is usually limited to the work area, but you may hear equipment, and certain materials can require ventilation precautions during installation. If you’re sensitive to odors or have pets/occupancy concerns, mention it during scheduling so the work plan fits your household. If you’re in Rossville, ask about the expected setup and cleanup steps.
