Advanced Seal is who you need to go with if you want spray foam done. Any time we have had them out for a job is it done the same day, even some very large areas. As you can see in the pictures attached they take great pride in not only doing a good job & matching their pledge on foam amount; but also are the cleanest you will find at applying it. No mess, no overspray, done how you would hope it would be. Great people to work with!

Steve and his team came out and did an excellent job for us. We had mice, bats, and possibly a squirrel living in our attics. They came in and sucked out the old insulation, sealed cracks/openings, and applied the spray foam to replace the blown in insulation. They cleaned up after themselves, did excellent work, and hauled everything away. They responded quickly when I first reached out, educated us on what our issues were and how to move forward, and treated our home as if they were working on their own home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is the second time I have contacted Steve at Advance Seal for spray foam at my house. They came out in 2021 on short notice and sprayed my crawl space before winter. This time around they spray foamed my 40 x 64 pole building. Quality of work, and professionalism is by far the best in our area. 👌

Steve is simply the best. I’ve had him 3 different times for different projects. Always the same. Work is done correctly and efficiently and looks great. The best is his attention to the small stuff, drop clothes, plastic to cover things to not be damaged. Then the clean up after. Besides having the unbelievable warmth and sealing the foam does. It was like they were never here. I truly wish every contractor I worked with was just like Steve I cannot say Enough good things about him. I’ve always felt like he gives me more than what I paid for. Highly highly recommend

Frequently Asked Questions

Attic insulation pricing varies by home and attic conditions, so most reputable contractors won’t quote accurately without seeing the space. Cost usually depends on attic size and access, existing insulation condition, whether air sealing is needed, and which insulation type you choose (blown-in vs spray foam). If you want a clear plan for your Lebanon, Indiana home, request an on-site estimate so you’re comparing real scopes—not guesses.
The biggest cost drivers are prep work and the “details that don’t show” in a quick bid. Examples include air leak sealing, ventilation fixes (like keeping soffits clear), removing contaminated or damaged insulation, and insulating hard-to-reach areas. Material choice matters too: spray foam behaves differently than blown-in insulation. Ask what’s included, what’s excluded, and how the crew protects your home during install.
Often, yes—because buyers notice comfort issues fast: hot second floors, drafts, or big temperature swings. While no one can promise a specific return, attic insulation can improve day-to-day comfort, reduce HVAC strain, and support more consistent indoor temperatures—benefits that can help your home show better. Keep receipts and a simple scope summary to document what was improved.
Uneven temperatures usually come from a combination of attic heat transfer and air leakage. In Central Indiana, attics can drive summer heat gain and winter heat loss, especially when insulation is thin, patchy, or compressed. Air leaks around attic penetrations (lights, plumbing stacks, attic hatches) can worsen drafts and comfort issues. A good plan looks at both insulation coverage and air sealing—together.
It can, but results vary based on your current insulation level, air leakage, HVAC condition, and how you heat/cool your home. Many homeowners notice improved comfort first—fewer drafts and less temperature swing—then see changes in heating and cooling usage over time. The most reliable way to set expectations is an attic evaluation that identifies where heat and air are escaping and what to fix first.
Sometimes. Attic air leaks can pull dusty air and insulation fibers into living spaces through gaps and penetrations. Improving attic air sealing and insulation coverage may reduce that airflow pathway and help stabilize indoor conditions. This isn’t a medical solution, but it can support a cleaner, more consistent home environment by reducing uncontrolled air movement between the attic and the living space.
Common attic options include blown-in insulation and spray foam, and each fits different goals and attic designs. Blown-in insulation is often used to build depth over an attic floor, while spray foam is frequently chosen when air sealing is a priority or when insulating rooflines in certain designs. Advanced Seal Spray Foam Insulation can explain which approach matches your attic layout, comfort goals, and budget during an on-site visit.
R-value is a measure of how strongly insulation resists heat flow. Many homeowners in this region aim for a higher attic R-value than older homes currently have, but the “right” target depends on your attic type, existing insulation, and whether the attic is vented or sealed. A contractor should measure what you have now, identify air leaks, and recommend a practical target for your home—not a one-size-fits-all number.
In many homes, yes. Adding insulation over major air leaks can leave you with the same drafts and moisture movement—just with more material on top. Key leak points include attic hatches, top plates, plumbing and wiring penetrations, and recessed lights. Advanced Seal Spray Foam Insulation often evaluates air leakage as part of the attic insulation plan so the final result improves comfort, not just insulation depth.
In a vented attic, you typically want airflow from soffits to an exhaust (often ridge or roof vents). If blown-in insulation blocks soffit intake, the attic can trap heat and moisture. Baffles (or vent chutes) help keep those air paths open while allowing full insulation coverage near the eaves. A proper install checks intake and exhaust paths and protects them before adding depth.
Condensation often comes from warm, moist indoor air leaking into a cold attic where it cools and releases moisture. Insulation helps reduce heat transfer, but air sealing is usually the critical step to reduce moisture-laden air movement into the attic. Ventilation may also play a role depending on your roof design. If you see frost, damp insulation, or stained roof decking, have the attic evaluated promptly.
If you see dark staining, musty odors, or damp materials, it’s worth investigating—but avoid assuming the cause. Mold-like growth is often related to moisture from air leakage, roof leaks, or ventilation imbalance. Insulation improvements can be part of the solution by reducing heat loss and limiting moisture movement, but the priority is identifying the moisture source. A qualified attic inspection can help you decide next steps safely.
Ice dams usually form when roof sections warm unevenly and melt snow that later refreezes at colder edges. Improving attic insulation and air sealing can reduce heat escaping to the roof deck, which may lower the risk of ice dams—especially in homes with obvious attic bypasses. Ventilation can also matter. No contractor can promise ice dams will never happen, but a tighter, better-insulated attic often helps.
Many attic projects can be completed in a day, but timing depends on scope: air sealing, removal of old insulation, and ventilation corrections can add time. Disruption is usually limited to attic access and some interior setup for protection. Ask how the crew protects flooring, controls dust, and handles cleanup. Good insulation work should leave your home clean and your attic details clearly documented.
Spray foam products are designed for building insulation, but installation should be handled by trained professionals with proper ventilation and safety controls. The process may include isolating the work area and allowing time for the material to cure before reoccupying certain spaces. If you’re considering spray foam in your Lebanon, Indiana home, ask your contractor to explain the product being used, the safety steps, and the re-entry timeline.
A useful estimate should include a quick attic assessment, measuring current insulation depth, checking for obvious air leakage paths, and noting ventilation conditions. You should also discuss comfort problems you’re trying to solve (hot rooms, drafts, moisture concerns) so the scope matches your goals. If you’d like a local assessment in Lebanon, Indiana, you can contact Advanced Seal Spray Foam Insulation to schedule an on-site estimate and receive a written recommendation.
